A DVD sized e-book reader about say half the thickness or slightly thicker with great battery life, a headphone jack and a speaker without massive bezels, silly chin and with simple software is what's missing in the e-book reader world. If Apple made a 9" e-ink reader (kindles are too small) that looked like the page of a book "Apple Page" or "Apple Book" and had some innovative features such as page numbers (ffs) and the ability to squeeze either side of the page to turn the page I'd honestly buy one. I do wish Apple would add e-ink tech to iPads but that’s probably hard to engineer.
